Southern Air Econo Kooler A/C & HEAT - UNIT ONLY
Length of ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Installed this unit in 2021 in my 37 Chevy Street Rod. It has worked flawlessly since then.
Cons: I agree with the first review concerning the vents. I had hoped that there would be allowance for vents to the side or bottom of the air box.

Southern Air Econo Kooler A/C & HEAT - UNIT ONLY
Length of ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Installed in my 1934 Ford Sedan street rod when built in 1994. The air has no trouble cooling the chopped sedan and the heater does a good job even at 18* in Minnesota.
Cons: My only beef is the outlets are limited to the adjustable ones on the front of the unit so little air drops to the feet of the front seat passengers. Also the lowest blower setting is way too fast and noisy.

Length of ownership: more than 1 year
Pros: Put this unit in a 37 Ford coupe. Easy installation and it cooled the inside of the car just right. I'm now building a 40 Ford coupe and will use this same unit. I liked it because I maintained my glove box and it did not take up a lot of room under the dash.
Cons: You may have to purchase some extra fittings as the standard hose kit does not have the angled fittings you need depending on you specific application.
