Performance Parts Sales Consultant

Southern Rods and Parts is seeking an experienced Performance Parts Sales Consultant in the Automotive Hi-Performance and Street Rod/Hot Rod industry. The position consists of assisting customers in person, on the internet, and over the phone as well as showroom maintenance.

Job Duties /Responsibilities:

• Create Sales Orders and Invoices in software program
• Process sales for in-store customers  
• Inventory Management
• Complete Inventory Order Forms
• Process and maintain backorder files and shipments as inventory arrives at our warehouse
• Arrange drop shipments with suppliers for Southern Rods’ orders
• Assist office personnel with eBay store inventory levels
• Coordinate with warehouse staff about ordering supplies and inventory
• Pick parts to assist warehouse associates pack online orders

Competencies

• Knowledge of car parts
• Knowledge of cars/truck A/C and suspension systems
• Proficiency in emails and ordering products
• Customer Service skills via phone calls, emails and in-person contact
